Distress Inks are a fade resistant, waterbased dye ink, that have a higher water content than most dye inks.  This makes them slower to dry...so you can emboss with them and it allows you to sponge or distress your edges easier, because the ink will "smear" for you.  The colours naturally work with vintage or shabby chic themes adding a realistic aged look to your projects.  Now with all that said, they are still a fabulous ink to use for any type of stamping.  If you haven't tried them before...pick some up today!
