Hello and welcome to this week's Playing in Paradise Challenge!
One of my favorite stamping techniques is paper piecing. This is when you cut out pieces of the stamped image from one source (cardstock or patterned paper) and adhere it to the stamped image on your project.
Like so:
You can see how the chair was stamped on a white cardstock die-cut and then stamped on some leafy patterned paper. The patterned paper chair back/cushion was cut out and adhered over the white. (Materials can be found on my blog.)
Paper piecing is a really easy technique to add flavor to your project! It looks especially good coordinating with the same patterned paper somewhere else on your project (as Julie has done below).
So on to the design team projects!
Our Paradise Player this week is Cindy!
Speaking of Paradise Players, we had a 3-way-tie from last week's sketch challenge! Random.org determined our winner to be Mildred Mildew! Please email Laura at
