"The Field" with My Mind's Eye

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!

Here's a simple 8.5 x 11 inch Scrapbook Page I did with some brand new My Mind's Eye papers from their line, "Lime Twist".

I just love the line! I love their balloons and kites and whimsical clouds... and their fun colour scheme!! I'm sure you will, too!




I will probably make a few more pages with this line to scrapbook the many, many photos I took of the kids and dogs in the field this spring. I just love the paper with these photos. This page was really simple, with not much embellishment beyond the papers and paper title from My Mind's Eye - I really wanted to showcase the photos, and the paper. We'll see what I do with the other pages, later on... I may follow that style or get a bit more crazy.

Happy Go Lucky Flowers Card!!!

Hi all.......well I'm sooo happy the snow has finally gone!!! I will take all the rain we've been having over snow anytime, but the warm sunny days are definitely the best!!! :) So we have had so many new products come in over the last few months, but I just love the bright and fun colours of the new My Mind's Eye Happy Go Lucky papers and the cute twine that goes with it, so here's what I did with the papers and twine........I hope you all like it!!!






This is the card that I made and I even pulled out my Copics to colour it....................

Cardstock: Fuchsia, Teal, X-Press-It Blending Cardstock & My Mind's Eye- Lime Twist Happy Go Lucky 6"x6" Paper Pad

Stamps: Kaiser Craft- Occasions Mini Clear Stamp & Inkadinkado- Garden Life Cling

Inks: Momento Tuxedo Black & Lilac Posies

Dies: Spellbinders- Grommet Tags

Copics: BG0000, BG45, BG49, RV55, RV66, Y35, YG93 & YG97

Misc.: Martha Stewart Punch- Garden Trellis, My Mind's Eye Lime Twist- Happy Twine & Ranger Liquid Pearls- Buttercup

So this is pretty simple to put together.......I used the fuchsia cst for my card and layered it with the teal cst and then the patterned paper. I punched out the garden trellis and adhered that. Then I stamped the garden life stamp and coloured it in with my Copics, trimmed around it, then matted it with the teal cst. Then I cut a strip of the patterned paper and matted it with the teal cst and topped it off with the grommet die cut and the sentiment. For my finishing touches.....I added the twine and some liquid pearls. I just love all of the colours that the twine comes in.....and of course I just had to add a few to my collection :)  Well that's all for this time...........so until next time.....
