Playing in Paradise #79

 Morning my Paradise Friends!  Merlie here, with this week's challenge.  Hope you will have time to join us and maybe win a fabulous prize.

What will inspire you this week?  Will it be the picture or the color combo?  If it's the color combo you're after.... you don't have to have the exact shade.  Any shade of Orange, Yellow and Green will do!

I used Distress Ink Pad to do my color combo.  I heat emboss my image, then rubbed distress ink using a sponge block.  The more ink you rub, the more the image will pop.

My card is always layered with black.... to me, it just makes them pop.  The thinner the better!  I usually go for 1/16", but when you're using dies, sometimes it's impossible to get that.

Today I'll show you how I do my layering.

Trace the outside of the die or

emboss the die

cut

and glue!

If cutting and tracing is not for you.... cut two extra black pieces

glue the first black, showing only from the top

then glue the second black, showing the bottom part.

The sides will not show that much... only the top and the bottom.
