Playing in Paradise #85 - Have a Cuppa

It’s Friday and that means we have a new Playing in Paradise challenge for you today. I am your hostess this week, and I have an inspirational image for the challenge.

This image reminds me of some wonderful fall treat like a Gingerbread latte, best of course enjoyed with friends. There is no real theme to this challenge other than what this photo brings to mind for inspiration for you.

I found this fantastic Canvas Corp-Coffee Stamps on Kraft designer paper in the online store and I could not resist creating something right away. My card has lots of layer but I am really happy with the little coffee cup embellishment I created.

I stamped the image 4 times, two on kraft cardstock then again on a piece of natural white and brown cardstock.

I then cut out a full cup from the kraft cardstock, the lid from the natural white and the sleeve from brown cardstock.

I finished by popping each of the layers up with foam tape and adding a pearl to give the cup a 3D look.
This is a side view of the layers. Some images are easier to fussy cut than other and this one was pretty simple, I feel it adds a little something extra to a project.

Lets take a look at all the wonderful creations from the Challenge Team and out Guest Designer
