Here is a peek at Pam's creation:
Make sure you go and check out what she made at her blog HERE!

And this is what I created

I am in full Valentine's mode now that Christmas is over, plus I am still in love with SN@P products so this is the card I made!

I used the Houndtooth template which I used to create the background.

I began by dry embossing the template (yes you can spray, ink, paint, emboss etc with these templates!). I used my Cuttlebug and used the following sandwich:

Bottom Up
A plate
Template
Cardstock
TWO tan embossing mats
Scrap piece of cardstock
TWO B plates

I placed the template back over my now embossed image and used some scotch tape to hold it in place. I used some scotch tape to seperate the sections whilst I was inking. I used a mixture of Tim Holtz Distress Inks with my Ink Blending Tool.

Make sure you leave a comment for a chance to win your own Crafter's Workshop 6x6 template.

Last months Feature Item winner is Jeanette! Congratulations! Please contact Hannah at hclovespink@aol.com with your full name and address so we can get your prize sent out to you!

I love this technique and the gorgeous colours you used! And I have new love for stencils, too! I will have to get me some embossing mats so I can try out this very cool idea!!! Hugs, Roxy.
