Good Morning!
This morning I am showcasing the little acrylic paint pots by Ranger:
I used to use acrylic paint all the time. I used to collect the little tubs by Making Memories and then got carried away with Glimmer Mists and all the other great products out there forgetting about these little paint gems! So today I pulled out one of the Studio paints and fell in love again!
I am going to Hawaii in three weeks time - yay! When I saw the Tropicana collection by Kaisercraft, I knew I had to get it to make a great book for all my honeymoon pictures. I knew if I waited until I got back, it would have sold out as it is so beautiful!
I decided to make a mini album (actually it will be about 11"x11" so not really mini!) and place it into the Graphic 45 Box. The box is what I am going to show you today.
This is how the box looks in the package.
Trying to decide between "Altered Orange" and "Dash of Red". I went with "Altered Orange"
I used a sponge to dab on the paint. I applied two coats.
I found it easy to squeeze on lots of paint and then dab it with the sponge.
I cut a square out of a 12x12 piece of paper leaving a 1.5" Border.
I inked all the edges with Walnut Stain Distress Ink using an Ink Blending Tool.
I used Scor Tape to make sure it stuck to the box well and stayed there forever!
I cut 2 pieces of paper at 11.75"x1.75". I also inked these with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.
This is how it looks on the drawer of the box.
I will show you what the book looks like when I make it. The book will be visible through the hole in the book which is why I have left the box very plain for now. Depending on how I make the front cover of the book will depend if I jazz up the box anymore!
Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!

Thanks Hannah, I hear the Holtz Man has come out with a new distress painline that can cover, but then be opaque by spritzing with water.
This looks great, looking forward to seeing it finished!
Have fun in Hawaii :) Looking forward to seeing your creations with the awesome photos you'll no doubt take!
