Hello Everyone Pam here, Please allow me to introduce our newest Challenge Team Member Linda Pekrul. Here is a bit about her in her own words:
Hi
everyone! You can find me happily
crafting the day away surrounded by 2 dogs, a bird, and some fish! I have enjoyed creating things from a very
young age. Through the years I have
dabbled in many crafts … anybody remember macramé in the 70’s??
I love to crochet and sew, but at the present, scrapbooking has become a
huge passion. There are so many
beautiful papers, interesting dies, and inking techniques … I am just
mesmerized by it all!
On a personal
note, my husband and I are the grandparents of the sweetest little boy and girl
you could every meet! (You can tell I’m
very much the “doting” grandmother, can't you??) We have two grown sons and a daughter who live
close by, and we consider ourselves very fortunate to be able to spend lots of
time with them.
I’m so
excited to be joining the talented Scrapbooker’s Paradise Challenge team
because I LOVE doing challenges. I find
they take me out of my comfort zone and have me trying all sorts of new
techniques and colour combinations and finding a whole new way to play with
paper. So I hope you will come play
along with us and join in the fun! You
can see more of what I do on my blog: BlueSkyScrapping.

For my project, I chose to use the beautiful paper line from Graphic 45 called "Place in Time". (If you click on the hi-lighted links, you will be able to see these products at Scrapbooker's Paradise.) I wanted to make a mini-album to record the important events of 2013.
My challenge to you is to make something that hi-lights a special "Place in Time" that you remember or that you have coming up in 2013! It can be a card, layout, tag, even an altered item .... whatever you choose!
You will see instructions further on giving you the "rules" and showing where to "link" up.
I started my mini album by making and decorating a front and a back cover from chipboard. I used 4 pieces of 12"x 12" Place in Time paper to make these covers, as well as a piece of the coordinating Place in Time Chipboard #1. (That's where I got the beautiful picture of the birds.) The rest was all pieces from my stash. I stamped the crackle image behind the pictures and went over the swirls with Glossy Accents to hi-light them.

Then it was just a matter of cutting the album pages from black card stock and decorating them. I made 12 pages and used the Place in Time 8"x8" paper pad to decorate them. Each page folds out to add photos to the back side, and then there are pockets with tags on the front side, to add additional photos or journaling notes.
These little paper pads have all the cut-outs required to decorate your pages. I even had extra to spare, which I will use as embellishments when I add my photos on the backside.
Our guest designer this week is KIMBERLY CLARK with this very beautiful baby card. What more special "Place in Time" is there than the birth of a new little baby!!
Here is what the rest of our Design Team created:
